Eun Mi Choi is a full-time graduate student in the MSW program at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College focusing on Community Organizing, Planning, and Development. She is originally from South Korea where she earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and worked as an Elementary School Teacher. After she came to the United States, Eun Mi Choi taught the Korean language to elementary school students and worked as an Interpreter for the Irvine Unified School District in California. Her experience as an interpreter led Eun Mi Choi to pursue a new career, as a social worker, to better serve the immigrant population like her.
