Mohamed Faiad is a Registered Nurse in the mental health field aiding those struggling with their mental health through therapeutic communication, compassion, and clinical judgment. He has worked as a Registered Nurse and Rehabilitation Counselor for children with disabilities, which shed light on the many disparities within the healthcare system that affect the community. These disparities are what pushed Mohamed to advance his education, to be better equipped to assist and advocate for those affected by mental health disorders. Mohamed is also a Cabrini-Hunter Fellow and looks forward to obtaining his Certificate in Interprofessional Education, which he believes will equip him with the knowledge base and skillset to properly interact with various interdisciplinary teams and promote successful treatment regimens.
