Born and raised in Bronx, New York to immigrant parents, Amy Morales-Lara is striving to establish a meaningful career in social work.  Amy is deeply involved in community work through volunteerism in local organizations and enjoys empowering and inspiring others.  Amy is currently attending the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College in New York City, where she is pursuing an MSW.  Once she obtains her degree, she intends to work with distressed youth and children with disabilities in the Bronx area and beyond.
