Elaine Aboni’s foundation in social work is built on the recognition of one’s humanity. A two-time Valedictorian and leader in her community, she has committed the past 5 years and counting to serving and giving back to her community. Elaine has accomplished this through tutoring, mentorship, casework, running workshops at S:US, counseling, and using her platform to educate others about nutrition/wellness and social justice. Her core values, personable attitude, and desire for systemic change set the foundation for all that she does. Elaine is eager and open to learning, growing, and expanding her network as she completes her MSW, her Fellowship with the Cabrini-Hunter Fellowships, and her internship at NASW-NYC’s Immigration and Global SW Committee.
