Adedeji Ademola is a Registered Nurse and a first year Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner student at Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing. Adedeji has worked as a Registered Nurse in various inner city hospitals for the last 4 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University’s Accelerated Nursing Program. While at Stony Brook, he gained an understanding of psychiatric mental health nursing under the direction of Dr. Virginia Colleti. After working in various critical care settings, Adedeji decided to bring it all back home to psychiatric nursing. Upon completion of the PMHNP program, he hopes to work with Veterans and other victims of PTSD. Adedeji is looking forward to integrating psychiatric nursing with critical care in a world where there are complex comorbidities.
