Grace Amato is pursuing her Master's in Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at CUNY Hunter College. Her studies focus on the community organizing method and public policy analysis. She received her Bachelor’s in Latin American Studies and Gender Studies at Connecticut College, where she learned about food justice through her work at a local community garden. Grace is interested in bridging the gap between feminist theory and social policy. Her goal is for everyone to have access to healthy, affordable, and culturally relevant food through straightforward policy, engaging programming, and community advocacy.
