Mariella Benavides Bravo is currently pursuing a Dual Master’s degree in Social Work at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and in Education at Bank Street College’s Infant and Family Development and Early Intervention Program. She is interning at the Association to Benefit Children’s Fast Break Mental Health Clinic, providing crucial mental health services to children living in poverty. Previously, she worked in the DOE as a Paraprofessional, working with students K-3 in a dual-language elementary school. Mariella hopes to continue learning and developing skills to help those who are underrepresented and to combat disparities in the health field.
