Kristen Misek has over ten years of experience as a Nurse in community and international health.  In her current role with Nurse-Family Partnership, a home visiting program for first-time mothers, she supports a caseload of moms and mentors new nurses.  One aspect she loves the most about her job is getting to work with each patient for over two years and forming long-term, therapeutic relationships with them. Through her work, Kristen has discovered a passion for perinatal mental health and plans to continue working with this population as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
