Denisse Nunez is pursuing a MSW at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, on a Clinical Practice Track.  For over 9 years, she has been servicing children, youth, family and staff members at the Children’s Village through various roles as a Caseworker, Educational Coordinator, Skills Coach, and Safe Space Group Facilitator.  Denisse has experience working within various areas and populations ranging from adoption, foster care, and the sanctuary, to Unaccompanied Minors and the LGBTQIA+ Community.  Denisse intends to utilize her degree to further support and advocate for marginalized communities.
