Patricia Tiu is a first-generation born Filipina-American currently finishing her masters in Hunter College’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. She has various experiences in nursing that include Medicine, Out-patient Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN), COVID Intensive Care Unit, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Electroconvulsive therapy, and home care. Patricia is passionate about fighting and advocating for underserved populations and is seen in works with Queens Library, Museum of The City of New York and Good Morning America. On days she is not in school or working, she loves to play basketball with her community. Patricia is excited to be a part of the Cabrini-Hunter Fellowships, where she will develop skills to continue fighting and advocating for vulnerable populations and contribute to policy changes in the future.
