Donique Lewis is a graduate student enrolled in the Hunter College One-Year Residency Social Work program with a focus on Clinical Practice: Individuals, Families, and Groups. She is currently a prevention specialist and has over eight years experience working with disadvantaged youth, providing one-on-one and group counseling and teaching lessons in social-emotional learning. Using her knowledge and skill set to positively impact youth to learn, grow, and change the world is something she’s passionate about. Donique also writes and performs poetry and spoken word and enjoys incorporating creative expression in her work with teenagers. As a Cabrini-Hunter Fellow, Donique will expand her education and eventually go into private practice to service a larger community of children and families in need.
