Bunge Okeyo is a graduate student pursuing her Masters in Social Work (MSW) at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College. After a decade working across industries from education to business strategy and operations, she made the intentional transition to clinical social work, to concentrate the most fulfilling aspects of her work across industries into one profession. Bunge is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing life-limiting and/or chronic illness and their loved ones and is interested in work that supports and improves the quality of interactions between medical staff and patients. Bunge is eager to grow alongside nurse practitioners and fellow social work students as she completes her MSW, partakes in the Cabrini-Hunter Fellowship, and as an in-patient intern at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
