Jenae Peters is a Brooklyn native currently in her second year at the Silberman School of Social Work, focusing on Clinical Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups. She received her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies. During her undergraduate years, she mentored first-year college students in the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP). In her first field placement, she worked with the Department of Education (DOE), conducting restorative circles with high school students and small group counseling interventions. Jenae is particularly interested in addressing mental health disparities in Black and Brown communities, with a specific focus on women dealing with postpartum depression (PPD).
