Tiana Rivera, a former child who grew up in the foster care system, decided to return to school after a decade to become a social worker. She displays passion, discipline, and dedication for the field of social work. She obtained her Bachelor of Social Work specializing in Child Welfare. She is in progress to receive her Master of Social Work from Silberman School of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups. Tiana’s personal, field practice, and educational experiences will lead her to be a great asset in her field. She is excited to be a part of the Cabrini-Hunter Fellowships for Social Work and Nursing Students program at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College.
