Miyoshi Wilson is a proud Bronx, New York native. She is a second-year student in the One-Year Residency Program (OYR) at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Miyoshi has chosen to pursue a concentration in Clinical Practice with Individuals, Families, and Groups. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Mercy University. Miyoshi works as a preventive case planner within child welfare for a non- profit organization. She has experience working in different populations providing counseling and case management support. Miyoshi is enthusiastic about advocacy and helping individuals advocate for their rights. Miyoshi's goal is to continue working within child welfare, providing advocacy and making policy changes to better support children and families in the child welfare system.
