Monica Barreda is a graduate student in the Advanced Standing Program at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. Originally from Peru, she speaks Spanish and has a strong desire to help communities in need. She has worked as a social work intern at the Police Athletic League and as a case manager at New Horizons Counseling Center, gaining valuable experience in supporting individuals and families. Through this fellowship, she looks forward to building on her skills and making a positive difference in social work.
