Jude Steffers-Wilson is a dedicated student at the Hunter Silberman School of Social Work, working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) therapist. His goal is simple: to provide future clients with the best, most well-rounded care possible. Growing up in East Harlem, Jude developed a strong passion for martial arts and a deep commitment to his community, which continues to drive him today. After graduating from Hunter College with a degree in Philosophy, he was inducted into Phi Sigma Tau, the Honors Society of Philosophy, marking an important academic achievement. Jude’s connection to his community extends to his involvement with Youth Action YouthBuild (YAYB), a nonprofit organization supporting young people aged 17-24 through workforce development and education. As a proud graduate of the program, Jude was honored with the Helen D. Stoneman Scholarship four times during his undergraduate years. He sits proudly as a member of YAYB’s Board of Directors. Currently, Jude will be completing his final year as an intern at The Jewish Board Family and Children’s Services, where he will be providing therapy and leading small group therapy sessions to service users.
