Chelsea Grant is a Socio-therapist at the Children's Aid Society, where they have worked for the past four years supporting children and families within the child welfare system. Over the last three years, they have specialized in working with youth experiencing ADHD, ADD, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Intellectual Functioning, and Disruptive Behavior Disorders, and recently began supporting a youth diagnosed with a Psychotic disorder.
Their work focuses on equipping foster children and foster parents with practical tools to build stability and resilience. They provide education around diagnoses, boundaries, routines, emotional regulation, job readiness, and healthy relationships, while implementing behavioral interventions that encourage prosocial development — including school engagement and community involvement.
Grounded in trauma-informed practice and motivational interviewing, Chelsea Grant approaches each case with cultural awareness and a commitment to helping youth develop a strong, authentic sense of identity. They believe that differences should be embraced and that every young person deserves space to grow, belong, and thrive.
